Of course, Migawka is about competition, prizes, and recognition—but these are not the most important things. The best aspect of this type of event is the people you meet and get to know! It’s you who create this incredible atmosphere, where everyone, regardless of their painting skill level, can find a place for themselves. It’s at events like these that you can meet painters you usually know from internet and on social media.
The competition exhibition is undoubtedly an amazing sight, where you can see such a large number of world-class works in one place!
Especially for our participants and visitors, invited vendors present their goods, which you can purchase for your collection!
Selected and fantastic artists will present their painting demos and discussion panels, where it is always worth watching the artists at work and listening to interesting people live.
Together with the entire Migawka Team, we are preparing a multitude of attractions for you to take part in and have a great time!
Migawka is created by people who want to create our own unique figurine painting competition in our own backyard in Łódź, something we can be proud of. This initiative is aimed at hobbyists, from hobbyists. We want to unite painters from all over Poland and honorably host painters from abroad. We don't aspire to be the best or most recognizable, but rather play with the convention of creating a competition "on our own terms." Year after year, we see that our initiative is worthwhile, and the competition is gaining popularity, which means that each edition attracts more and more people eager to try their hand at competing in our own backyard.
